A new journey

It was late in May 2010, I remember I had just arrived from a business trip when I was having coffee with family. We were discussing an idea, where someone could compare the weather inside movies to the weather outside. Fast forward 4 intensive months & quite the Product Development later and we birthed MyZeus. Founded with my friend Brandon Weiss, we solved many problems around movie viewing habits & examined more. Somehow we were able to spend a year being completely bootstrapped. ••••

We learned, innovated & pushed extremely hard! After many long, stressful but successful months I am happy to say I am joining forces with the Groupon Design team to help lead a the future vision of the Merchant & Consumer products. Once the design team explained to me the grand vision I was sold. They're redesigning their entire real estate, including Consumer & Merchant products. This move will allow me to expand my knowledge as a Product Designer & continue to grow as an entrepreneur. ••••

It is the perfect time to make impact, Groupon is designing the world's local commerce operating system with a realtively small team. At sheer scale Groupon continues to uphold immense opportunity. My personal attributes were well considered by the team and it feels humbling. We will be cooking up some extremely special things, I can guarantee that. With the exciting visions the team beholds, I have a strong feeling that today marks day one of an epic journey for both Groupon Inc. & myself. It is a great day for everyone!
